A convicted thief in Dartmoor Prison has hidden the location of stolen Bank of England printing plates inside three music boxes. When the innocent purchasers of the boxes are murdered, Holmes and Watson investigate.

SHERLOCK HOLMES and the SECRET WEAPON
Sherlock Holmes must keep the inventor of a bombsight and the valuable instrument he has produced, from falling into the hands of his archenemy, the evil Dr. Moriarty.

TERROR BY NIGHT
Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard aids Holmes and Watson when they match wits with a killer aboard a speeding train. The super-sleuth dodges death while trying to protect an enormous diamond known as the "Star of Rhodesia."

Holmes and Watson investigate a series of bizarre and apparently unconnected murders, also the death of a possible suspect. The trail leads to a society of hypnotists and a mysterious glamorous woman.
